Called the kissing disease because it for so long associated with mononucleosis.
It is now known the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV), also called human herpes virus 4 (HHV-4), is one of eight known human herpesvirus types in the herpes family and is on of the most common viruses in humans.
It is best known as the cause of infectious mononucleosis but is also associated with various forms of cancer such as Hodgkin’s lymphoma, Burkitt’s lymphoma, gastric cancer, nasopharyngeal carcinoma and most recently discovered, breast cancer.
Anthony William’s exposes EBV for the many health issues it is responsible for in the human body! He writes about it in depth in his books, Medical Medium and Thyroid Healing. He ties EPV to many other diseases including Thyroid disease and just about any autoimmune disorder.
The Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center posted a summary in April of 2018 linking EPV to Lupus, multiple sclerosis, rheumatoid arthritis, juvenile arthritis, inflammatory bowel disease, celiac disease and type 1 diabetes. Regretfully they stopped doing research when they ran out of funding.
