I took care to select items I use in my own home.

Here you will find appliances and items I use in my kitchen. Scroll down for Vegan cookbooks and books that inspired my to adapt the WFPB lifestyle.

I am a big fan of Le Creuset and this covered casserole is just one piece that I use on a regular basis. It is the perfect size for a family, it has a cover (no baking with aluminum) and is easy to clean!

I love this oven! It is a large convection oven that I use almost daily. This one is non-digital but there is a digital model as well.
I bought it for the dimensions. 21.65″ W X 19.20″ D X 12.91″ pan. Bake, Broil, toast, warm and convection cook. You can use this as an air fryer as well.

I was about to buy my third juicer and wanted something powerful enough for celery! This was more than I wanted to pay I thought it worth the investment. I was delighted to find that I could juice several heads of celery with no problem and it was very easy to clean. I don’t expect to replace this one anytime soon!

I changed to Stainless Steel cookware decades ago. I originally started with a more expensive brand of cookware but found that for the money Cuisinart was just as good and held up even better than the more expensive cookware. You can’t go wrong with any of their products.

After researching air fryers, I opted for this one because it has more actual cooking space. Everything cooks on the racks instead of in the bottom of the unit. It uses no oil. I make fries of course, but I also make onion rings, okra, “fried” green tomatoes and a number of things in this oven!

This mixer has stood the test of time as a staple in most kitchens. If I am going to be baking all day, this is my go-to machine! It has so many cool attachments you can get as well like the pasta maker and spiralizer. This is the perfect size with the tilt head. A MUST!

I love the grid choices on this. Waffles, a griddle or panini press. Plates come out for an easy wash. I use the panini press of eggplant slices before I layer them in my lasagna. Nice!

My local knife sharpener told me about these after informing me that the very expensive Asian knives he tried to sharpen for me were too soft and leaving metal in my food! I threw away $1500 in knives that day and bought some of these. These cut like a dream, very well made and a bargain as well!

I prep vegetables ahead of time and freeze them so it made sense to buy a food saver. I can also use this to quickly marinade food in half the time. I tried several cheaper ones but ended up with this model because of the features.

A few years ago I got on a Moroccan kick and had to have a tagine. Actually I have both the 2.1 qt and 3.7 qt. The 2.1 qt is perfect for a family of two and is extremely versatile. You can cook veggies perfectly with very little water.

The one thing I haven’t liked about an Instant Pot was the lack of a timer. This one is wifi capable so I can set up my food and start it from anywhere using my phone! The ultimate gift for a techie gadget!

These pans answered three requests for me. They are stainless steel, for into my convection oven and I can air fry with them. I love the weight of them and they don’t warp in my hot oven.

This is a crock pot with a clay insert that will make your food moist. I bought it to cook whole chicken in but now that I am vegan I find it perfect for rice. There are many health benefits for cooking with Vitaclay. Too many to mention.

This three pot crock pot is a great idea! I can see it at potlucks but it is handy at home when I want to make a chili, no-cheese queso and rice. It is designed very well but does not have a timer.

Everyone needs a cast iron pan! I found this one at a very good price, especially for a Le Creuset product. It only comes in red or blue but will make great corn bread in either color.

When I use my stainless steel wok at the required high temperatures, the sides turn black. This cast iron wok fits the bill. It can take the extreme heat and nothing sticks to it. Love the lid too!

Xtrema products are expensive but extremely versatile and safe to cook in.  The divided braiser is great for Asian food as I can cook the vegetables on one side and rice on the other. Xtrema cookware can be used on the stove top, oven, and broiler. Withstanding temperatures up to 2500 º they can also be used over a fire or grill. Dishwasher/microwave safe.

My favorite Shun knife was a utility knife with scalloped edges. I’ve replaced all of my Shun’s because they were too soft and left metal in my food. I was delighted to find this Dalstrong knife that I use every day!

This is probably the best bread maker out there. If you want organic bread made with ingredients you can trust you need to make it yourself! I will say though that you need to mix the ingredients fairly well before putting them in the machine to get the ingredients distributed correctly and make a pretty loaf.

Blenders are a preference I think. I bought the Vitamix 7500 and gave away my Ninja only to go out and buy the Ninja Intelli-sense system a few months later. I use both. For those of you who really want a Vitamix, the 5300 is about the cheapest that I would consider but it is not much more for the 7500.

Lunch and eating on the road!

Eating vegan presents little challenges like eating on the road or simply taking lunch to work. I have a trucker in the family so the car cooler is great for him. My husband uses the Ebag Crew cooler and after 6 years he is ready for a new one so we are getting the Mojecto large cooler bag. It has two insulated compartments instead of one. My grandsons use the Wildkin bags because they fit into their backpacks. We use glass containers exclusively for our food.  The plastic lids are food safe on these.

Inspired Reading!

There are always questions about a whole food, plant based lifestyle. These books are inspirational as they can answer questions around your health as well as how to’s about what to eat, what to avoid and why.

Other Products and Services.

While I have been able to find most of my products on Amazon, I have found products or services through other affiliates.

The non-stick stainless steel pans at Pampered Chef are the only ones I’ve found anywhere that I feel are safe to use.

Thrive Market in an online market I found for staples I use in my kitchen. Most of the time the items are cheaper than local stores and the shipping is free when you hit a certain balance. Force of Nature cleaner.

I discovered this cleaning system and had to try it! It is a natural cleaning product of water, vinegar and salt! Safe for use around children, pets and the environment but as effective as bleach! It comes with a charging station and vinegar pods that turn your tap water into a cleaning product in 5 minutes. It has a very pleasant smell and cleans beautifully! Seems to work on all surfaces. Click here  to get 40% off.

Pampered Chef is a company that does home parties. I have no affiliation with Pampered Chef but I do recommend and use some of their products.

I found these non-stick skillets and researched them. From what I read they are food safe and it is nice to have non-stick skillets with oil free cooking.
