Every kitchen comes equipped with a microwave these days! As a matter of fact, you cannot even request to eliminate them when you are building a home.
As for me, I use mine for storage, or to clean sponges.
I read where they change the DNA of your food and it literally becomes inedible. That was enough for me to stop.
My husband takes his lunch to work and uses a thermos to keep his food hot until he is ready to eat. You can also invest in a small heat plate, mini slow cooker or rely on the thermos to keep your food hot. A water boiler can be used to heat liquids like soup or beverages.
I do use a counter top convection oven at home. It is easy to just pop a meal in there to heat while I go about my day!
