I made the top 1% in a competition of 180,000!

I was recently in a competition that I was hoping to take Snap Pea Sheep to the next level.

No, I didn’t win but I came in third in the finals. I am still a contender for the plating but with 1800  entries, I need a lot of prayers and luck.

During the contest, I got a lot of exposure from my Facebook posts and gained lots of new friends and followers.  Because of the plating competition, I have renewed interest and have loads of recipes to post! My FB link: Snap Pea Sheep

Snap Pea Sheep was created when we realized we need a Plant based, whole food diet in order to stay healthy.

The standard American Diet is too high in fat, devoid of nutrients and full of chemicals that confuse the body. When we are plant based, we notice a huge impact on our health.

Unfortunately, in 2020, we both caught Covid. We were simply incapable of preparing our own meals. While we agreed to relax our diet while dining out and socializing, it became more dining out and take out than dining in on healthier choices. It took a toll on our health so we are once again striving to keep the Snappy WFPB diet!

Simplicity is key!

While it is fun to make jackfruit Korean ribs, beet pastrami or walnut-lentil burgers, we needed meals that take little effort and can be on the table fast AND contribute to our well-being.

If I win this contest, I intend to hire an editor and get some cookbooks published. O would also like to start doing some zoom calls and have some cook-alongs! I have some great recipes to share!
