This blackberry margarita has a little orange juice to really bring out the flavor. It is a very bright flavor!

I use Camarena Reposado tequila. It is smooth and full bodied. Cheap tequila just does not make a good drink!

Notes

This is a Snap Pea Sheep recipe.

This cocktail can be made with any kind of fruit. Raspberries, pomegranates, mango,  pineapple or strawberries all make an excellent choice.
Jazz it up with a jalapeño stuffed olive or add a little jalapeño powder to the salt you rim the glass with.
If you care to make this a frozen drink. Make a simple syrup with your sugar and water taking care to dissolve the sugar. Let the syrup cool. Add frozen fruit to your blender along with remaining ingredients and blend until smooth.
