Celery Juice

Celery juice is very therapeutic and especially good for the digestive system. It is recommended to drink 16 ounces of celery juice per day for a month for general health!

Ingredients

  • 2 Heads Celery May need 3
  • 1 Whole Lemon
  • 1 Whole Apple of choice Optional
  • 1/2 bunch Cilantro Optional

Instructions

  • Snap Pea Sheep says "drink more celery juice"!

  • Chop the bottoms from the celery and the very tops if they are brown
  • Wash thoroughly
  • Stack the stalks where some are from bottom to top and top to bottom to make it more uniform going into the chute. The VonShef juicer is a good choice.
  • Push all of the celery gently through the chute until all are juiced.
  • If using cilantro, wad it up and tuck it into the celery.
  • If using apple, remove the stem and put the whole apple down the chute.
  • Serve in a glass with some ice, a squeeze of lemon and a lemon slice if desired.
